Samantha Bridal Fair 2015: I Thought I Disliked Weddings

I thought I disliked weddings. You know. The intensive arrangements and the high costs that punch your wallet hard have always scared me off. Anyways, that’s me and that can be a topic for conversation should you have free time someday. But on attending the Samantha Bridal Fair 2015, it started dawning on me that I have been wrong all along. Maybe it was just another misjudgment. What I saw and experienced at the event had an impact on my perception. I just can’t figure out if it’s a positive or a negative one.

First, the venue killed it all. Yeah, it created that impression that there was an affair between the event and the venue. Of course, it was a wedding affair. The exhibition stalls provided a vivid display for the attendees to feed their eyes on the wedding gowns, footwear, wines, wedding photographs, wedding cakes, make-up products and all they could want. All under one roof, the Samantha Bridal Fair 2015 brought together some of the best wedding vendors, photographers and wedding experts in the country to showcase their offers. Ideally, it was an inspiration ocean that anyone would want to swim across.

Beauty, glamor and winning smiles are all I could see when the models started strutting on the runway in their beautiful gowns and other fashion designs. This is what shook the roots of my perception. It created the desire for the Big Day to come (even though it has never been in my mind). The wedding gowns by top Kenyan fashion designers and bridal boutiques provided future brides with the best options for their dream dress. Some of the talented Kenyan designers who beautified the event include Monika Kanari, Wambui Mukenyi and Ogake. Here are some of the photos our photographer captured just to give you a feel of the Samantha Bridal Fair 2015.

The CatWalk Show showcased the latest bridal trends, designs and themes in Kenya. From my viewpoint, it was a world of solutions to all those who were planning for their Big Day. The varieties showcased on the runway enabled brides to sample from different collections and plan effectively. Lasting for three days, the Samantha Bridal Fair was a successful event that allowed future grooms and brides to make the right choice. With the wealth of resources at the event, decision-making was not a daunting task. Thanks to Samantha Bridal for hosting such a successful Samantha Bridal Fair 2015.

With such an experience, I think I like weddings!!
